The '309' master cylinder is a 1-1/8" bore unit used on many 68-76 Corvettes (and likely many other GM cars) with power brakes. Pre-74, or so, versions usually have bleeder valves, later versions do not. It was used alternately with the '346' master cylinder and is interchangeable.In Appreciation of John Hinckley -
