57 zParking lights etc.

My 57 was judged in Laughlin Nv. at the Wester Regional. I was told by a judge that my parking light barrell screws and my tail light lens screws were wrong.
Both screws were pan head domed. They told me they should be pan head flat screws with a rounded corner. I have tried every where I know to find the correct screws, and have been told that both screws were used by the factory.
My parking lamp barrell screws were on an original set of parking lamp bezels. I need some help or advice here. As this was my first big judging meet and the judges were shipped in from all over the nation, I figured they know their business.

You were given correct information - both screws are pan head, nearly flat, with radiused edges. You might try Paragon, Mary Jo Rohner, or Werner Grossmueller for correct ones.

I knew I could rely on your info. I called grossmuellers and was told by the owner that his info was both types of barrell and standard screws were used in 56/57. I will call Paragon in the morrow and talk to them. Mary Jo says the domed type are the only ones she can get. I think she has a foreign source for the parking lamp bezels and barrell screws. She is who I opriginally purchased them from. Paragon vintage can probably find the proper units. I will be at Monterey for the nationals look forward to meeting you if you are there. You are the lone voice in the dark that has helped me to reach top flight at a chapter meet and second flight at the regionals in Laughlin. The car is in the shop and we are making all the corrections for a hopful top flight in Monterey. Thanks again for all your wisdom and advice.
