It is about time to get the car (1967)back from the paint shop. I am concerned about putting the body back on the frame. The idea of my buddys dropping my freshly painted car has crossed my mind several time in the past few weeks. I have one of those strap lifts that I used to help lift and clean the underside of the car but it really touches the car more than I want it to and could scratch the paint. I have seen shops that use a form of a tee bar
(H formation) that attaches to the firewall and somewhere in the rear of the car. I called one shop in Penn. that shows all kinds of cars being put back on the frame using this set up and a engine puller (lift). Unfortunately, they won't take the time to explain or give me demensions. They told me they purchased one a few years ago from a company out of California and have made several others on their own. Does anyone have a diagram or measurements for this kind of a lift. It looks like an H with chains coming down somewhere in the engine compartment and then it looks like it bolts somewhere in the rear compartment. Thanks for your continued support
