Oh no! Rear body mount fiberglass cradle

I've been logging hours under the rear of the car lately, the entire rear suspension & gas tank is out. I got a good glimpse of the first real rust nasties I've found on my shark. Rats, till now I've been pretty lucky structurally speaking. Anyways, it looks like it's damn near impossible to get to this without separating that panel from the rear of the storage panel (the panel perpendicular to the length of the car which runs to the aft edge of the rear wheel well). Also, it would appear that one would have to lift the body up several inches, not just a teeny amount as is required to replace the aluminum body shim on the rear body mount. Just how common a problem is this? The visible sides of the fiberglass cup part are in decent shape, as is the frame support and the aluminum shims aren't all THAT bad. Plus there was still factory shim tape on the buggers! I was really surprised to see just how disentegrated and flakey layered that back piece of metal looks. How do I tackle this? ~Juliet
