Art Dorsett of Van Steel has informed me that he has been promised upper a-arm bushings in the original GM configuration (with rubber protruding 1/4 inch on each end) within approximately three weeks. He has a supply of the correct lower bushings. In a thread on this subject earlier this month, I promised to research the availability of these bushings and post my results. My thanks to Joe Lucia for the tip about Art Dorsett. Now if only we can find a source for the lower ball joints.

Re: Availability of A-arm Bushings
When I spoke to Long Island last week, I was told that all they had were the replacements with the rubber protruding from one end only. I called this morning and was again told that the replacement bushings which they had in stock were not identical to the original.- Top

I don't know if Van Steel has them yet or, for that matter, ever will have them. But, you can call and find out. Let us know waht you find. Their phone number can be obtained by "dialing them up" on the web at www.vansteel.comIn Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
