IHR engine code

I have a 66 CPE that I have had for many years, the engine is not correct but is close. I can't find the "IHR" code for anything, there is "HR" a small block and "IH" 66 big block. This is a 942 block I235 cast and a VIN 6L137582, any help?

The VIN says it's out of a '66 Impala/Caprice built at Van Nuys - have no idea what the "R" is after "IH", as 3-letter suffixes didn't start until 1970.
