THANKS for the Kudo but I DON'T know everything about C1 Corvettes. I started just like everyone else. Knowing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I've been around for eons however and have done nothing but try to learn FROM OTHERS (who deserve the credit). Both correct AND incorrect answers to technical questions are quite valuable. In each instance the trick is to evaluate for yourself and make your OWN decision about things. Encourage others to "shoot you out of the saddle" and ALWAYS remain open minded.
There's no stamp on the flange because Baker rejected this particular pump from his supplier and didn't stamp it. There's something VERY wrong with the pump. Probably the valve. That's what you get with low dollar made-up parts. They are the MOST EXPENSIVE in the long run. Much better to buy original stuff from someone you can trust.
