I'mabout to rebuld my steering box but can't get the lower end of the pitman arm off the steering arm? Im afraid to use to much force. Its a 67' L79!! Thanks (not sure why my first post didn't show up or maybe it did, If so sorry!) Mike #34566

Jim: I have a pitman arm puller but it was the other end! Getting the pitman arm off the relay rod and I got it done with a tie end fork! Now I have to redoe the relay rod end (no power steering)as well as the steering box. Can I redo the relay rod end with it in place! Thanks MikeComment
