Saw the ad in the driveline this month and the cost was $30,000 disassembled. I thought these cars sold for $100,000? low production. Is this a real L88? Anyone intrested in a combo purchase restoration? I recall there's a point thing between chapters, if you do a frame off?? Anyone seen/live by the location? Just something to think about. since some of the guys that mainly contribute have 68-72's. I have MANY!!! extra parts. Don't know if this post is appropriate for this discussion board. Sorry if is not.

Re: ignition timing
Jack, both "Motors" auto manual and the 1977 book "Corvettes Technically Speaking" (which seem to use the AMA filings as a source) call for 4 degrees, using a distributor curve of 32 degrees (Crankshaft) at 3600 RPM. Vacuum advance is 27 degrees (crank) at 15 inches of vacuum per the same reference.- Top
