    Re: adding factory air

Have you seen the cost of NOS air conditioning parts? Things like evaporators, expansion valves, condensors (if you can even find NOS) are so outrageous that it would cost you twice what the improvement adds to the value of the car. I should know, I'm restoring two air cars (67's)now. Never again!!

      Re: adding factory air

he bought all the parts for $250 from a guy who was removing all the heater and A/C parts from the car to build a race car. this was years ago and i just posted to show that factory air could have been added by the owner and just not the factory.

          car value

what is the difference in value of 2 equal 64 365 hp corvettes with/without air and electric windows? this may make the effort worth while.

              Re: car value

IT seems that the roadsters air cars have higher value for the a/c systems than the coupes. I guess if you can get the whole system cheap enough, then why not? Sure, it can be done with some effort. I guess "yesterday parts" were a lot easier to get at "yesterday's prices".
