    1960 Windshield: Where to purchase?

As I prepare for my interior installation, I'm now ready to purchase a new windshield and gasket. Any input would be appreciated regarding where to (or not to) purchase a windshield. I seen postings where people have gone to their local auto glass shop and had a windshield within a couple of days. And the best place to buy a quality gasket.

My windshield appears to have a slight tint.

Note: The car is a driver, not show.

    thanks, Rick

Hi Rick. I just received mine about 2 months ago. Called and ordered it from O.E.M. Glass Inc. Their phone is 1-800-283-2122. Great bunch of guys and they can also do the logo and date code, which I had done. Good luck. BB

Anyone else have any supplier recommendations?

I got mine from a local glass shop. It's not "correct," but it looks good and fit perfectly. I had a conversation with a local Corvette restorer who told me the percentage of bad windshields (waves, bad fits, etc) he got was about equal with generic vs OEM. I think it was around one in ten that had to be returned.
