    e-mail virus from KEITH BIGGERS

If you receive an e-mail from KEITH BIGGERS entitled, "Your Only Notice" with an attachment, DON'T OPEN IT. It contains a virus.

Someone is using Keith's name to spread problems. The opening letter talks about anodized sway bars and a-arms.

    Dale.

Ditto Dale - My virus catcher also flagged a W32 Magistr.b@MM virus from Keith. Only difference from yours was in the subject. Mine is "In reality they have also maligned." I didn't open it........Dick

Re: e-mail virus from Technical Discussion Board *TL*

                Lyle,

There is no danger of catching a virus from postings on the Technical Discussion Board, at least at this point in time. As virus authors get more and more innovative it may someday be possible.

Links that are posted here could lead to some virus problems, maybe. It is a long shot.

There just isn't any substitute for using a good virus checking program and keeping it updated just as often as a new pattern file is released. If your virus program has not been updated with the latest pattern file within the last week or so, you might just as well un-install it.

Please understand that Keith Biggers isn't SENDING the e-mails to NCRS people. Rather, some prankster is sending virus infected e-mails under his name.

                    Dale.
