'67 Interior Question....

Does anyone know who the actual manufacturer is of the reproduction 65-67 headrest assembly? Also, of the major vendors, who sells only Al Knoch seat covers?

I could go directly to Al, but instead of having a lot of little bills from several vendors, I would rather just have one horrendous bill from a single vendor. Thanks, Patrick #33001

A number of manufacturers build reproduction interior parts including Al Knoch, Corvette America, Ecklers, and 'Goodhoe' (SP?). Nobody has a monopoly on 'correct'. Each has their good parts and their not so good parts. I have no experience with headrests.... Catalog houses tend to buy what's a good mark-up deal and along lines of mixed part volume discount as well as supplier loyalty. Few want to tell you who's interior part they're supplying to thwart end user buy around.... Good luck.

Well, I recommend shopping around for each part becouse each vendor sell some good stuff and some not so good stuff. I know that's not what you want to hear but........
However, Paragon and Zip are the best to deal with. There prices are higher, but they do off discounts of about 10% if you are doing a resto and tell them. You usually talk to the same folks all the time at Paragon, and returns etc are no sweat. I get a discount at Eckler's, but they arnt as good as they used to be. I still shop around, not just for price but for quality the first time I order. Good Luck Ray
