    Smog Pump Repair

    Can someone tell me the name of a reputable person who does smog pump repair? I own a 1972 coupe, all original with 22,000 miles. The smog pump seems to have a bad bearing and I want it repaired, not restored as I'm looking to Bow Tie this car!

      Hi Rick, Did you try and check Hemming Motor News for someone who can restore your smog pump ?

          I got the name of a guy in Ohio, Bill Hodel, who I have purchased other AIR parts from before.

              Rick, "Bowtie" your car 1st before fixing/restoring anything. There is no opperation involved for anything on your car for "Bowtie". If you have the pump redone there is a chance for a major failure for that item.

                  Definetly call Bill H. He has a lot of stuff and, if he doesn't do the repairs himself, he will surely tell you whom to go to.
