    Nostolgia Break *TL*

    I received this picture from Ronald D. Rains a long time NCRS member.

    It is on the dash of a recently purchased '54. Anyone remember what this was?

      That's 14 months before I was born I can barely remember what I had for breakfast, but I would like to know more about the find. It looks like it may have an interesting past.

              Rich tells me that it reads "Mustang Sports Car Club Houston Texas". I don't think this has anything to do with the Ford Mustang since it about 9 years to early. Must be a local Houston Club. Anyone know if they still exist?

                  The guy that installed the plaque was Robert E. Caton, he sold the car to Richard L. Campbell in 1960, both guys were in Houston at the time.

                      Looks like the small plaques they gave out for road ralleys. I had a bunch of them that were similar from the early 70's. They gave them out after the ralley for all who finished the course. Many people stuck them on the dash, as I did.
