    Wiper Transmission-'59q

    I have no wiper transmissions, and cannot seem to locate any. Is it the same part used in 1959 Chevy sedans? Is there a substitute?

      These transmissions are available from most of the regular suppliers. Mary Jo Reiner may be the cheapest source. I see these on eBay pretty regularily. An NOS one went a couple of weeks ago for less than $100. Typically they bring a lot more than that. Dale Pearman has a supply of both new and used examples. As far as I know, these are Corvette specific, though there are some transmissions which are very similar in appearance which I occassionally see offered as "Corvette" items. These will not interchange. Expect to pay around $200 each for NOS examples, and $160 or so for rebuilt ones.
