What Holley Carb do I have ?

I have been scratching my head and trying to figure out what Holley I have. The numbers do not look right according to my Tech Manual. I have a 1966 with a base 327 / 300 with A.I.R. My carb numbers are 3884505 LIST 3367 0627
As always any help in determining this carb will be greatful.

1966 Corvette base engine standard carb. The four diget date code indicates a service replacement carb.

      Bill:
Is the 0627 the date code and if so how is it read? The tech manual shows alpha codes as the month!I also noticed the vacumn advance line is a hose and I believe it is supossed to be a chrome tube with a small piece of rubber tube. Can this carb be off another type GM ?

        Don -

The correct carb for your application (with A.I.R., RPO K-19), is GM #3890499, Holley list #R3605A; the 3884505/3367 you have is for the base (non-California A.I.R.) engine. The "0627" date code is in Julian/Year format - yours would be dated March 3, 1977 (4-digit Holley service carb date codes started in 1970). The carb should have a nipple just below the choke unloader diaphragm for the distributor vacuum advance - the reduced-diameter end of the metal advance tube with the upset collar on it fits inside this nipple, and a rubber hose covers this connection. There should be another nipple at the right front of the carb base for the vacuum signal line to the A.I.R. valve.

Thanks John, I will have to look at the details more closely that you have given to me. At least I can put this to rest and sometime look for a correct Holley. Thanks again John ( and Bill)
