Current dealer code for Cochran & Celli Chevrolet in Oakland, CA is 06 147 (Zone 06). Prior to rezoning they were included in zone 20. Need the Corvette communities help determining their dealer code in the 62 / 63 timeframe?

I'm afraid that I don't have an answer for this one, and I see that the dealer codes archives can't help, either. If no one else come up with an answer, I have one idea that might work: call Triple A Enterprises in Indianapolis. They reproduce window stickers for any year Corvette from customer supplied information. As far as I know, they maintain a computer data base of the information. Since Cochran & Celli sold a LOT of Corvettes here in northern California in the 60s (probably one of the largest Corvette dealers around in those days), I'd guess that Triple A has reproduced more than one window sticker for a 63 sold by Cochran & Celli. So, they might have the dealer zone and code information in their data base.
In fact, maybe you can have a reproduction window sticker made for your car(s)from whatever info you have. Tell them that you know the selling dealer was Cochran & Celli and ask if they can include the dealer zone and code from their records.In Appreciation of John Hinckley
