66 BB air car fan shroud

Hi, Does any one know if the fan shroud used in the 66 BB air cars was used in other applications? Other GM models etc?

Corvette fan shrouds, including those used for 1966 with 427, were unique-to-Corvette pieces. They were not used on any other Chevrolet or GM models.

Darwin, If you find one please let me know. I have heard that Shimmershine (spelling?) makes one but have heard they use gel-coat thus the judges will get us. I have also heard that Corvette Images makes a correct one but they want over $200. Any info you find please share and I'll be happy to do the same.

Tell me more about the image repo. I am not familiar with it.. I was hopeing to find a good used shroud to replace my broken one, but they a very rare, especially the ones used in BB air cars.

They are done with materials like original and do not require painting.
I could send you a pic. but I dont know how much detail you could see.

Wayne, Where can I get info. on them, address, web site etc.? I haven't heard of them before.
