I need to replace my driver's side seatbelt on my '76. The retractor does not work. Who or where would be a good place to go (in terms of price)? I already know how expensive Vettes are. Ssnake-Oyl or Sunwest? I have also seen a number from the archives from Joe Lucia to call Bob Rush (and it is apparently in the metro Atlanta area). I am about ready to sell the car, which is numbers matching, but do not want to sell it until the seatbelt works properly. Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: Seatbelts
Seatbelts are dated (via attached tag) and if your car is numbers match, you might want to think along the lines of preservation (repair) vs. restoration. Often, the retractor unit can be disassembled and fixed rather than buying a replacement belt--effort to R&R (remove and replace) can be a chore....
Why not check with your local NCRS chapter for a good/local Corvette shop to go visit?- Top

Re: Seatbelts
Ditto here - I got an excellent set of '70 belts from Charlie Santorelli at Seatbelt Sity in Bedminster NJ. ~Juliet
