    Jeff, In my opinion you would be better off spending your $$$ on other things. The M-21 came behind plenty of big-block cars and are plenty beefy for your application. Are you planning on racing the car? I'm not sure that you would be happy with the amount on noise that you get from an M-22 gearbox if the car is a pleasure-type driver. Your call.

    I have to agree with the guy's who have posted, put your money into a decent rebuild of the M-21 and you're set to go. I have run mid-11 second drag cars with this trans without problem in the mid-70's, using bigblock power in a 3500 Lb car. I don't think your smallblock in any streetable configuration will give your M-21 any trouble.
