56 Front Bumper install?

I am to the point where I need to drill holes in my body to install the front bumpers on my 56. There are 3 bolts that hold each outside bumper to the body. Can someone tell me where the middle hole goes in relationship to the turn signal light? It appears that it should be centered. I want to make sure before I start putting holes in the body.

On mine, that attachment is a horizontal slot about 3X bolt diameter, centered directly under the parking light hole.

Dave, Mine has the hole as John H. describes but if you have a copy, look on page 143 of Noland Adam's restoration guide. It shows several front ends in two photos, without bumpers (of 57s) on the assembly line and in the paint drying room. The holes there appear to be the same.
