    INSTALLING A TEAK TELE WHEEL

    good morning guys,
    I have a tele wheel that i want to put a teak wood wheel on.....took the horn cap off and see there is a metal flat round plate with no screws to take it off...how do i remove this round flat plate to get to the next step in taking the old plastic wheel off and putting on the original wood wheel....need detailed help on this please step by step from you experts...thanks..marc/1966 coupe/california

    Hi Marc
    If you are working on a 1965-66 Tele column,the flat round piece you see might be the inside on the horn button that should have come off with the horn button. It would have 3 bent over tabs that snap over a pot metal stand. That stand is secured by 2 screws but you will need to pop the remains of the horn button off first before you can continue.
