60 Trunk Mat Update

Thanks to all in my search for a mat. I found as John H did, that Romeo has not even started on the 58-60 line of mats. It could be close to a year before we see any out of them. I did find an early 60 mat at Dr Rebuild, and they did not charge a premium price for it, just their normal catalog price. They do have a few other solid axle mats still in stock, so if anyone is in restoration and is going to need one, you might want to buy now as there is likely to be a real problem getting mats for the next year or so. All he has left are the later 1960 mats without the curve for power top. Also, all these mats are reproduction without the proper texture on the back side, no "US", no date, and all have embossed instead of printed numbers.

These are the $166.00 reproduction mats that have been around for years. Better than nothing but far from judgable.
