What is the difference, if any, between a 1964 and 1965 Delco AM-FM radio? Thanks in advance for your help. Rex #8089

Date coded stickers on the case. Some modest circuitry changes. And, time of manufacture changes to the front dial lamps, legends as described in the applicable NCRS Judging Guide books. -

I don't have a 65 judging guide but I do have a 64. Apparently the 63 and 64 AM/FM radios are identical. The judging guide doesn't allude to anything peculiar about them. It states there is a small incscription of "Delco" at the bottom of the lens. Probably the only real visible difference is simply that 65 used different knobs. 65 knobs are unique, the center of 64 knobs is slightly concave while the centers of 65 knobs are flat.Comment

My 64 station numbers are white on a black background. AM designator is the same (or faded green? hard to tell) while the FM is white letters on red background.Comment

Hi! 64 Radio is distinctly different in two major ways. One, the AM and FM lettering are red and black and, two, on the AM band there will be two Conelrad warning station emblems near the top and bottom of the dial. CU!Comment
