'60 Questions

#1) For a '60 VIN of late July, 1960, would a date of April 27 on the rear be appropriate?
#2) I understand that some '60 270 hp models were equipped with a standard copper radiator as opposed to an aluminum radiator. Is there any way to find out if this indeed was the case given the VIN?
#3) Is there a contact or search that could be performed in order to find out if a car has ever been entered in a NCRS Judging Event?

(1) NCRS Flight rules allow a 6-month window for date codes that are not specifically addressed in the appropriate Judging Guide and/or Judging Reference Manual.

(2) No comment--no knowledge.

(3) If you're an NCRS member, you can correspond with the National Judging Chairman, Roy Sinor, and ask about prior judging. Can't guarantee he'll respond (much of the files are manually warehoused)....

With regard to question 2, anything is possible - check the radiator support - if the hole for the drain is on the driver's side, it is my understanding that the car would have had a top tank radiator.
