Goldlines were not available after 1966. For 1968, the options were blackwall (standard), redline, and whiteline. Tires brands were either Goodyear Speedway Widetread, Firestone Super Sports Wide Oval (non-belted), or Uniroyal Tiger Paw. Mostly, the Tiger Paws were blackwall only; the others could be any of the 3 sidewall configurations.

Joe: This one-owner ' 68 is survivor/bowtie status potential. I would like to proceed down that road with my preparations for judging, maybe at the Asheville Regional Meet. Can you point me in the right direction in doing so?? Tks, Jeff B.

Bowtie judging is pass or fail on originality. This means the tires must have come on the judged car from the facrory to pass. All parts are judged this way and must have came on the car from the factory and be only cleaned. Any repainted or replaced parts fail also owners are asked to declare any non original to this car items. Common declared items are oil filter, tires, and exhast.

Has anybody found if you can get the tires that appear on the picture
69 Corvette, 427/435 Tri Power Black convertible, sidepipe car.
The tires say, STEEL (60) BELT, FIRESTONE with either gold or red line.

If you mean has anyone found that you could have ORIGINALLY factory-optioned the tires that you described on a 1969 Corvette, the answer is decidedly no.

If the question is does anyone know where one could get a set of tires like this today, I, at least, have no answer.
