FYI - The DIY (Do It Yourself) is doing a mechanical update on a 1962 Vette. I watch it in Florida on Channel 166 at 7 A.M.- Monday to Friday. Worth a look. It is also on the computer for those that are unable to see it on TV. Bill 11787

I imagine this is the red 62... if so, they must be doing re-runs... they did that series maybe 3 years ago?
They ended up giving the car away in a contest. -

A friend of mine bought the car from the guy who won it in the giveaway contest.
The car was not restored, it was put together with a bunch of wrong parts and VERY POOR workmanship.Comment

I believe you are correct, no x member, trans mount from frame rail to frame rail.
In addition it has the wrong (early) seat frames,white seats, 350 ci engine, Quadrajet carb, rally wheels, reissue vin on door jamb and so on.
