C2 67 BLOWER MOTOR RADIO CAPACITOR

While looking through the AIM it shows a capacitor at the blower motor for radio equipped cars which my car has. My car also has factory A/C and the AIM doesn't show the capacitor in the C60 section. Does anybody know if it is required on all radio equipped cars whether A/C or non A/C? Any help would be appreciated.

My guess is yes, based on my example of '65s both with and without A/C.

The AIM would show the minimum for that option only (C60) and the U69 sheets would apply on top of that, if the car was so equipped.

What looks like a feed threw capacitor is actually a RFI filer. Install the filter - if you don't want a buzz in your radio. The rear blower motor on 64 / 65 must also have the same filter.
