Restoring a 69 L89 car with F41 suspension. Unable to find correct hot rolled front springs. Any supplier suggestions? I have the original springs, blasted and in primer. Is there a paint coating that will not cost me points at judging. Any advise greatly appreciated as I do not want to take this thing apart again.

Check the archives under "Posted By: Mark #28455 Date: Sunday, 15 October 2006, at 10:13 p.m." for F41 front springs.
When it comes to a paint coating, on my '67 restored in 1993, I used Coricone which is a parifin based coating to prevent rust. If applied in light coats to fully cover the part, rust will not occur. The coating may be removed with a laquer dampened rag. I don't have a contact for Coricone and if you find one, please post it.
