63 Window track

I am missing the lower rear bumper from the rear window run on each door. At the bottom of the runs there is no place for attaching a bumper. However, on each one there appears to be the remnant of an L shaped bracket riveted to the run. The AIM has a part number for the bumper, but not for a bracket. The catalogs that I have offer replacement bumpers with no mention or listing of a bracket. If I order the bumpers, am I still going to be looking for the brackets, or does the bracket come with the bumper? Bumper price is only $1.50 so I figure that can't be much more than a piece of rubber.

Steve,the early 63 had a run like the one in your picture.
Later in 63 they it changed to the small rubber bumper (like a rear license plate bumper).
Many window runs like the style you have suffered the same problem, of the spring steel stop being broken.

Thanks for your reply. My car is pretty early (low 2200's). I guess I will have to fabricate a replacement "L" bracket and rivet it in place.
