Do any of the members recall or know the current whereabouts of the original owner of my 1965 convertible? The car is a Nassau blue over black L76 roadster. The protect-o-plate indicates that the original owner was as follows:
Jerome Bloom
2271 Marlton Pike
Cherry Hill, New Jersey
The car was purchased from Pollow Chevrolet at 119 E. Baltimore Ave. in Lansdowne Pennsylvania on March 26, 1965. On the back of the warranty booklet is written the N.J. license plate number JTM 608. I am assuming this plate number to be that of the original owner from 1965.
The second owners were Steward and Lada Shaffer c/o Old Shot Factory Schellsburg Pennsylvania. Can anyone out there shed some light on these previous owners or the selling dealership? A curious item found was a trailer hitch bolted to the two rear bumpers and receipts and drive-in movie ticket stubs from theaters in the midwest. I'm thinking that the second owners probably used this car in the course of their travels acoss the country. Does anyone remember these owners? Thank you for any help.
