53-57 dash rail measurement

Could some one measure distance running over the top area from door to door owning 56 or 57 and some one owning a 53 to 55 please Thanks

Roy, not sure what dim you're looking for. Actual length of the rail, or straight line end to end, or ???

Roy, on my '55, top measurement is 57.5 inches.

Measuring from the outside to outside of the dash rail, as installed, I get 51.5" on my '57.

Having re-read the dimension I think you are looking for and re-measured, I get 57.5' - same as Mike did.

I'd agree with the 57.5" as measured along the back of the rail where it meets the dash, 53" as measured along the "nose", the part which protrudes towards the driver. '57.
