I have a pair of original 1960 Aluminum Valve Covers, and I would like to clean them and brighten them up. What do you recommend using?

Have to agree with John, but if you want to try it yourself here are a few things to try. Results will of course depend on how bad they are.
Dupont's Metal Prep
Ajax Cleanser
Eagle Etching Formula Mag Wheel Cleaner
