C2 - 63 Frame Stencil Info

Greetings.....On an early '63 (October) what side of the car should the frame stencil be located and what color should the ink be? Some info I have says one way and another says something else. Quanta and the JG seem to conflict....

Another question on the frame markings....How much prior to the build date should the hand written date on the frame be?

Brad, you just opened a can or worms. While looking at the NCRS Restorer CD I found that in 63 the numbers can be on either side. This may or may not be in conflict with the 63/64 JG. If you can see on your frame where it might have been, place the numbers on the same spot.

Check the archives on the date, I can not recall.
