Assembly date discrepancy -C2

Good morning. I just purchased a 67 conv. in original condition and am trying to find out the exact build date. The tank sticker shows "date received" of 04/06/67 with "expected date of production 5/26/67. The trim tag show J03 which is an assembly date of 06/03/67. The issue is that the production number of 118649 shows a production date of sometime in May of 1967.

Is it possible for the production date on the trim tag to be off a few weeks?

"J " is May trim tag month in '67 for A and S bods

... and guessing by your J03 vs. the VIN, sounds like you have an A-body trim tag.

BTW, 5 / 26 / 67 is a Friday, as are all "expected" dates of production.
