    77 displacement help

Could someone tell me the heads offered on the 77 Corvette. What I am specifically looking for is combustion chamber size, but if valve diameter is also known, it would be grreatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Joseph----

My general recollection is that 77 cylinder head combustion chamber size was, nominally, 74cc. I will double check that figure for you this evening.

I do recall the valve sizes. L-48(base)engine cars use 1.94"intake valves and 1.50" exhaust valves; L-82 cars use 2.02" intake valves and 1.60" exhaust valves.

Joe is correct, for some additional information, the casting number was 333882, with a minimum cyl head volume of 69.5, (74 nominal)

I always thought that the 333882 heads had 76cc combustion chambers.
