what was the earlyest known 70 lt-1 to have power steering? i know they came out with the new oil pump and smaller oil pan late 70 with the ctk code block but what was the first one with power steering?

ok, i was just curious. i know my car is one of the first to get it. i just hoped someone would know who was first. my car is #12551. it is probably the earliest known to have the new style shielding. it sure would be cool if it was the first power steering car. i know its not but it would be cool. the ctk block came out in may and mine is a june so im sure some of them had power steering in may and early june. no big deal.Comment

FYI, I was just reading your message and found it interesting to me....I have a very late 1970 LT-1 (ex Chip Miller owned car) documented with p/steering.(# 17187, built on July 31st,last day of production).Comment
