Location of corvettes

My wife wants to know, in what state are the most classic corvettes to be found.
Are they spread evenly, per capita ?
Are there more in the mid-west or south, west coast or east coast ?

Rainer, I believe I read an article quite a while ago that stated that Ohio led the way in most number of Corvettes. But that may not be true today. John

My experience is sales of a particular era were high where the economy prospered at the time. This is to say, where a larger number of people had disposable income .

Since they were new a lot have moved around as interest and economics vary over the years. But....a surprising number stay within a few miles (or kilometers if you prefer) of their original homes.

Most are East of the Mississippi where the most enthusiastic people and best shows are NOT Ca.

If the question is where are most of the Corvettes, it must be OHIO because of Proteam, Mershons etc. But if you are asking about privately owned that could have a different answer.

I'm sure Don would be happy to trade the cold air (we're used to it up here:-23 Celsius/-9 Fahrenheit this morning in Ottawa)if you're willing to come and get the snow sent up here from the American mid-west this winter...
