would it be an advantage to add a rear sway bar to my car it would be used mostly for high performance street use

I would only recommend the addition of the rear sway bar if you were to convert the entire suspension system to FE-7. That would require changing the front and rear springs, front sway bar, shocks and rear shock mount shafts.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

If you only add the rear bar without compensating at the front for the increased rear roll stiffness, you'll learn all about sudden-onset oversteer. Not a great idea to try and out-engineer the GM engineers one piece at a time out of catalogs without understanding how the "system" works.- Top
