Washer and vacuum canister for a 1961 FI car

Was there any differences in brackets, canister or washer system other than being mounted on the right inner fender?

Two differences: hose kit was different, and the angle of the "head" on the vacuum tank was different.

Another Question: Did they punch all left splash pans for the vacuum canister?

Yes, all were punched.

Some confusion on punched holes can happen...

...because, subject to correction, the repro of this part was originally based on the 56/57 splash shield which was not punched (because there was no need) - Now, along comes the later shields which then started to mount windshield washer stuff on the LH shield - so, a whole new ball game. Don't know if the repro has been catagorized by year and punched/not punched to fix the confusion. Keep in mind that the LH shield OEM part will be punched, regardless of need (FI or not)... JMHO, Dennis
