    62 Starter

    Did any of the 62 889 starters find their way into early 62 Corvette's? Or because of the bigger motor were they all equipped with 233 starters? Seems to me they would all have the new starter, but ran across a supposedly all original 62 (original owner) and it has a 889 starter.

      What date is on the starter, and what is the serial number of the car? Automatic or manual?

          It's a July 61 starter date, the car is early 1200's with a 4speed.
