    Adhesive suggestions

    I'm starting to re-assemble the '55, what adhesive is OK for the thick rubber body to rear bumper bracket seal that attaches to the body to keep funk out of the trunk? I was going to use good old contact cement. Also, 3M yellow for the other gaskets OK?

      i've used 3-m super weatherstrip adhesive with excellent results. just clean rubber and fiberglasss with lacquer thinner before slopping on the adhesive.mike
