65 mirror

My 65 has a mirror on the right door. I think it's an add on by someone. Did 65's ever have a mirror on the right side door from the factory? Thanks, Jeff

Jeff,

The right side miror is most likely a dealer installed item requested by the buyer of the car. Does the miror match the driver's side? I have seen one other car that had a right hand miror installed on it. That was a low mileage 1964 FI coupe, which I believe is/was owned by Roy Sinor. The last time I saw the car was at the 1995 NCRS National Meet in Steamboat Springs, CO.
