    KO Wheel Numbers

    My car has 5 Kelsy Hayes wheels dealer installed in December 1963. Two of them have the KH part number on a pad on the rear side...just like the pictures in the books. Three have the pads with no number. Otherwise they look cosmetically the same...basically identical. Has anyone seen this before? Would this cause you to doubt the originality or is this just the consistency of manufacturing at the time. I believe this was before any such wheels were factory installed.

      Larry,
      I own 4 original Kelsey Hayes wheels also and one of my four is as you described, raised oval with no lettering inside. I believe i recall others on this site describe the same on previous posts. I am sure they will chime in.
