    63 Trim tag question

    Hi,

Been a C1 guy all my life but curious about something. My spec guide states the letter/number for the build date on the tag uses 1 to 6 for the week, one digit for the 63 only, not the actual day of month. What is a 5 & 6? I thought there were only 4 weeks in a month???

ps sorry if it's in the archives but I'm on the road to go look at a coupe today and don't have time to peruse the archives. Heading out right now to get a early start for the remaining 500 miles. I'll check in later, thanks.

Rick, take a look at a calenday for this month (12/2007). Depending on how you look at it, there are 6 weeks there.

Right. The trim tags were based on work weeks. If the week began on a Friday, that was considered to be a week, even though it was only one day. Just another fun quirk of the 63 !!!

        Harry & Tom,

Thanks! Makes perfect sense now, and even better, my search today showed exactly what you say.
