1965 Door Jam

Looking for the answer to a detail question on screws and washers. I believe the 2 philips head screws (with captured washer?) that attach the window run to the rear door jam have different size washers. Does the larger washer go in the top or bottom location? The AIM shows an additional washer and is confusing to me? Please look at your original cars and see what it there.

Hi Rob, have the same question as you on my 64 Coupe. The 64 AIM shows the same part number for the screw, 9418970, for top and bottom, assume this means they had same size capture washer. Same PN also used to hold door pull lever onto door. The additional washer is PN 120392 for 64. Yours the same? Don't have a 65 AIM to look at. Old pictures of doors look like the screw assm. and washer were black oxide, not cad etc. Does anyone have a 'size' for the washer?Thanks

My 65 AIM shows 120392 washer on the both screws (9418970) for a coupe. The top screw has an additional washer 120386 (added 3-19-65 per the notes) called for on a roadster. My car is a coupe.

Hopefully someone with an original car will chime in on this.

9418970 & 120392 screw/washer

For my Mar 23, 64 the 941890 screw is a 1/4-20 about .640 long with a phil head of .480 and the washer of .500 with a black finish. One note, the last date on my AIM is 3-27-64 and since I do not see any changes relative to said bolt/washer I'm assuming that combo was used on my car.
I do not have a parts book for the bolts, screws, washers, ect.
