Hi John,

Thank you for your earlier e-mail, now I'm excited to find out the information on My 1959 corvette that had an aftermarket intake manifold, carburator and distributor, The block # is 3756519 on the passenger side of the block the letters we found are #F922CT I am trying to restore the car to origial equipment, I would like to know the original intake manifold, distributor and carburator for my car, Thank you for your time and your help. Hi Susan,

You might want to consider buying a Technical Reference Manual (58-60) for your car together with an AIM for '59 (both in our store on this site). They are mucho value for money and tell you all you want to know about your car and more!!!

Which intake manifold and carburetor depends on the setup your car originally had. The engine code (CT) is indicating a 283ci, 245hp manual transmission. This setup would have a Carter 2626S front and 2627S rear carburetor, 3746829 intake manifold, 3755550 heads (under the rocker covers), 1110891 distributor and a 1102043 generator.

The intake manifold would be casting #3739653 for a 2x4; 3746829 is the cast iron 1x4 intake.
