    T-Top Straps

    Does anyone know if there were different straps for the T-Tops in 1969? I have what is supposed to be the original set which is two seperate straps. Each strap has a chrome plated hook on each end. Another strap at a swap meet that was supposed to be for a 1969 was all one piece and looked like a "T" when held up. It had three chrome plated hooks total on it. Has there been any information published in the Restorer? Any help would be appreciated.

      Chuck,

      The information you seek is in the 1968-69 Technical Information Manual and Judging Guide available from the NCRS membership office. It has lots of other good information, I recommend it highly.

      Not to keep you in suspense: the two piece straps are correct for your 1969. The T-shaped strap came later.
