just got back the 821, 822 and 649 wheel cyl for my 57 vette. someone asked about the cost of bronze sleeving four c-1 wheel cylinders at Whitpost Resto in Berryville va. 240 plus 20 shipping which didn't include new cylinder pistons of seals or dust covers. gonna git me a boring machine . they are pretty but seems a bit salty. mike

Seriously, did you by any chance have the master cylinder done also? If so what did that run? I saw another post and someone indicated $80/cylinder. I don't remember if that was with Whitepost or not. TedComment

i had the master cyl done about 10-15 years ago by stainless brakes of Clarence , N.Y. and as i recall, it ran about 100 bucks. mikeComment

I've been using Apple Hydraulics for a while now. Dale Pearman got me using them. I believe Whitepost will only do a master or wheel cylinder if they also rebuild it. Apple will do the boring and sleeving only which may account for the lower price. Both do good work though. RichComment
